Intestinal microbiome changes and mechanisms of maintenance haemodialysis patients with constipation

In this study, a prospective clinical cohort study was conducted to analyse the bacterial flora in the stools of maintenance haemodialysis patients with constipation, and haemodialysis patients who were not constipated and normal healthy individuals were used as controls. The aim was to examine the differences in the distribution and abundance of intestinal microbiome among the three groups, and to clarify the dominant intestinal flora in MHD patients with constipation, so as to explore possible mechanisms of MHD patients with constipation and provide a basis for preliminary research to improve this type of constipation through the regulation of the flora in the clinic.
