Rochester Public Library Branch Facilities & Operations Plan

Libraries are community anchors, the center of civic life and the social backbone of a neighborhood. More than just another building, libraries provide access and opportunity to all. RPL’s branch libraries reach over 950,000 residents annually and hold more than 6,000 programs. The RPL Branch Facilities & Operations Plan identifies strategies to optimize the physical and operational infrastructure of its ten library branches through enhanced library spaces, expanded access and innovative service design and delivery. “The facilities and operations plan will find innovative ways to connect communities and libraries.” –RPL Staff
