Abstract: (Critical) This program presents an overview of the anatomy and etiology of epistaxis including indications for, and techniques of, anterior and posterior nasal packing. A discussion of ligation of the internal maxillary, ethmoidal and carotoid arteries is contained within as well as causes for nosebleed and a review of common errors in patient management.
