Experimental plot cultivated rice rhizosphere soil microbiome from Sundarbans Other

This study was initiated to find out the absolute abundance of different bacterial communities present in an experimental plot of cultivated rice rhizosphere habitat soil at Indian Sundarbans. It was done through isolation of soil DNA from the respective site and amplicon database generation through 16S rRNA Sequencing using Illumina MiSeq platform of next generation sequencing. Comparison of this rhizosphere microbiome information of control plots with that of experimental addition of PGP root endophytic bacteria isolated from mangrove species of Indian Sundarbans and PGP bacteria from halophytic grass rhizospheres of Indian Sundarbans might result into identification of some particular bacterial community abundances which get enriched in the experimental cultivated rice rhizosphere after its experimental addition to the soil and cause plant growth promotion subsequently.
