A dataset of meteorology at the Jilin Da’an National Field Observation and Research Station of Agroecosystem from 2017 to 2021

Meteorological observation elements are an important observation component of the national field scientific observation and research station. They not only provide accurate weather forecasts, climate change predictions, and major meteorological disaster warnings to ensure people's production, life, and economic development, but also have important significance in meteorological research, ecological environment protection, and national food security. Jilin Da’an National Field Observation & Research Station of Agroecosystem (referred to as "Da'an Station") is the first national level field science observation and research station in China based on soda saline alkali soil. It has a profound scientific research foundation in the management and research of soda saline alkali soil. This dataset is organized and quality controlled according to the standards of the China Ecosystem Research Network (CERN) for incoming data, compiling meteorological observation data from Da'an Station from 2017 to 2021. The data content includes temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, wind speed, rainfall, soil temperature (0-20 cm), total radiation, total reflected radiation, total photosynthetic effective radiation, soil heat flux, and sunshine hours. Through long-term and systematic monitoring, data support is provided for the study of saline alkali soil in Northeast China, the development of characteristic ecological agriculture in saline alkali soil, the guarantee of food security and ecological security, and the comprehensive utilization of saline alkali land in China.
