We used modified phyloplankton tow nets to collect eDNA along with more conventional grab sample filtration. The study was conducted in Minnesota, USA, Florida, USA and Switzerland. The samples were analyzed via metabarcoding using COI primers for metazoans and ITS primers for plants.
