The attached data file contains survey data related to malaria prevalence in Malawi for the years 2000 to 2022. The dataset includes the following variables: Lat: Latitude of the survey location Long: Longitude of the survey location YY: Year the survey was conducted Ex: Number of individuals examined Pf: Number of individuals with Plasmodium falciparum infection PfPR2_10: Prevalence of Plasmodium falciparum infection in children aged 2-10 years LoAge: Lower age limit of the surveyed population UpAge: Upper age limit of the surveyed population This dataset was used in our analysis of the epidemiology of malaria in Malawi over the past two decades, with the aim of understanding the impact of malaria control measures and informing the elimination agenda.
