This dataset provides a comprehensive breakdown of entity type distribution across the DropThe knowledge graph, a large-scale entertainment and financial data platform. The knowledge graph maintained by DropThe encompasses over 1.8 million entities spanning movies, television series, notable people, cryptocurrencies, companies, and geographic locations.
Each row in the dataset represents a distinct entity type, with columns capturing the total count of entities, their percentage share of the total graph, average number of bidirectional links per entity, average number of structured facts per entity, the percentage of entities with associated media assets, the percentage with known aliases, and the date of the most recent data refresh. This distribution snapshot was extracted from the DropThe production database in March 2026.
The data reveals that movies constitute the largest segment at 46.2% of all entities, followed by people (21.8%) and series (17.1%). Cryptocurrencies and companies make up the remaining 14.8%. Geographic entities, while numerically small, exhibit the highest average link density (6.8 links per entity for countries), reflecting their role as hub nodes in the knowledge graph topology.
