Supporting dataset for the manuscript 'Limits of charge-weighted interaction-position estimation in deep-silicon photon-counting strip detectors'

This dataset contains the event-level simulation outputs supporting the manuscript “Limits of charge-weighted interaction-position estimation in deep-silicon photon-counting strip detectors.” The simulations model a 650-μm-thick edge-on silicon detector with tangential pitches of 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 μm, together with a separate unsegmented silicon-block reference. The archived HDF5 files contain photon-interaction and deposited-charge information, two-dimensional induced-signal frames, and charge-cloud propagation summaries. These data were used to evaluate deposited-charge, continuously propagated, and ideal strip centroids and their corresponding mean absolute errors and root-mean-square errors in 2-keV-wide deposited-energy intervals from 0 to 40 keV.
