This dataset is the raw data for metabolomics and transcriptomics. After administering quinic acid orally to high-fat mice, changes in brain neuroinflammation were observed. Metabolomics revealed a significant increase in tryptophan metabolites indole-3-acetic acid and kynurenic acid, suggesting that quinic acid may be metabolized into tryptophan by gut microbiota. Then, these two substances were further administered orally to high-fat mice, and the same trend as quinic acid was observed. Transcriptomic analysis revealed that indole-3-acetic acid was expressed through DR3/IKK/NF- κB signaling pathway inhibits neuroinflammation in the brain.
