Distribution of design agencies in the Netherlands 2019, by main activity

The majority of design agencies, start-ups and self employed designers in the Netherlands in 2019 were primarily involved in communication and/or graphic design. 52 percent of businesses operating in the design sector in the Netherlands were communication or graphic design agencies. Meanwhile, the share of service and experience design agencies was lowest, making up just over eight percent of all design agencies in the same year.
