This paper introduces the first half of a symbolic thermodynamic framework based on modular resonance dynamics, energy decay, and symbolic feedback stabilization. Using the symbolic field stabilizer [[k]], we define symbolic analogs of classical thermodynamic quantities—work W(t)W(t)W(t), heat Q(t)Q(t)Q(t), entropy S(t)\mathcal{S}(t)S(t), temperature Ts(t)T_s(t)Ts(t), enthalpy H(t)\mathcal{H}(t)H(t), and Gibbs free energy G(t)\mathcal{G}(t)G(t). We derive conservation identities, simulate symbolic energy transfer between systems, and visualize symbolic heat and decay dynamics. This work proposes that symbolic field systems, even without physical particles, exhibit coherent thermodynamic behavior through structured resonance and symbolic transfer. The framework lays the groundwork for deeper exploration of symbolic statistical mechanics, symbolic collapse, and modular field equilibrium. Part II will extend this theory to include symbolic partition functions, Helmholtz free energy, and symbolic pressure, toward a complete symbolic thermodynamics.
