FIELD: pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods and devices for making paper products， such as paper towels and toilet paper. In particular， the present invention relates to methods in which a molding drum is used for forming a paper web when forming a paper product. Fiber sheet forming drum includes cylindrical hollow sleeve made with possibility of its rotation in circumferential direction， wherein the cylindrical hollow sleeve includes an inner surface， an outer surface and a permeable structured surface on the outer side of the cylindrical hollow shell， wherein cylindrical hollow sleeve is permeable for possibility of air movement through cylindrical hollow sleeve， wherein permeable structured surface has multiple recesses and/or multiple protrusions， wherein density of said multiple recesses and/or multiple projections is more than about fifty per square inch; and vacuum chamber， arranged on inner side of cylindrical hollow sleeve and intended to draw air from outer surface of cylindrical hollow shell， wherein vacuum chamber is fixed relative to rotation of cylindrical hollow sleeve.
