Rescue of <i>ouib</i> mutant animals by <i>spo</i> overexpression in the PG.

The number of ouib29/ouib74 animals that grew up to the third instar larval, pupal and adult stages was scored. Tb+ indicates ouib29/ouib74 animals, while Tb- indicates ouib29/TM6 or ouib74/TM6 animals from the parental strains in the same experimental batches. Tb- animals can be used as internal controls. Values in parentheses indicate the percentage of animals that survive to the pupal and adult stages. The animals were fed standard cornmeal food without any steroidal supplements.
