During the course of the project, an immortal cell line maintaining its differentiation capacity was generated. This cell line could also maintain the same classifying capacity as observed with in vitro reconstructed lung tissue cultures (n=18, > 95%) without having the many variables which could disturb the transcriptomics analysis.
