Benthic trace metals, d18O and sortable silt data for sediment core MD01-2444, Iberian Margin

We report benthic foraminifera trace metals and d18O data, alongside sortable silt data from southwestern Iberian Margin site MD01-2444, spanning ~50-85 ka (i.e. MIS 4/3 transition, MIS 4, MIS 5a). Stable oxygen isotopes and trace metal analyses were performed on the benthic foraminifer species Globobulimina affinis picked from the >212μm size fraction in the Godwin Laboratory, University of Cambridge. Trace metal data was analysed using ICP-OES. High resolution sortable silt data was measured using Coulter Counter Multisizer 3 at University College London. Additionally, low resolution sortable silt data is provided, measured using Malvern Mastersizer 3000 laser diffraction particle size analyser.
