Opportunistic pathogen isolated from healthy cat

Since Staphylococcus sp. will likely continue to change to become more potent and resistant to different antimicrobials and pet animals are becoming a favorite to many people, we hypothesize that healthy cats might be a source of human infection at the human-pet cat interface. Therefore, this study aims to detect Staphylococcus sp. along with their antibiogram from apparently healthy cats.
