The price of 1 kg of strawberries in Aomori City is 79 yen higher than the national average. During the period from January 2015 to May 2024 (a span of 59 months), the month with the highest price for strawberries in Aomori City's supermarkets was December 2023, at 2,819 yen, while the month with the lowest price was May 2015, at 1,495 yen. The price difference between the peak and lowest price periods for strawberries in the Aomori City area, which were in December 2023 and May 2015 respectively, was 79 yen.
