Whole genome sequencing of WT and floral homeotic mutant mapping population

In this study, we identified SNPs in floral homeotic mutant by mapping-by-sequencing. The mutant is made by EMS mutagenesis in S. lycopersicum cv. Micro-Tom and the mutant shows floral homeotic phenotype compared to Micro-Tom wild-type. To clone the mutant gene, we crossed the mutant with S. pimpinellifolium and generated mapping populations in F2 generation. WT and floral homeotic mutant mapping populations were sequenced.
