THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA LANGUAGE ON YOUTH SPEECH

This thesis is devoted to the study of the influence of social media language on youth speech. The research analyzes the lexical, syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic features of language units used in social networks. It also examines slang expressions, abbreviations, emoticons, and internet-specific communicative tools in the speech of young people. The findings contribute to modern linguistics, pragmalinguistics, and sociolinguistics.
