Search for genes responsible for prognosis of the nintedanib treatment of induced-rheumatoid arthritis-associated interstitial lung. Mus musculus

Although nintedanib, a multi-tyrosine kinase inhibitor can alleviate symptoms of the chronically progressive interstitial lung diseases, its prognosis remains poorly understood. In an effort to identity genes related to the prognosis, we carried out RNA sequencing of lung tissue of nintedanib- and vehicle-treated mice which develop rheumatoid arthritis and subsequent pulmonary fibros is. By analysing differentially expressed genes between the nintedanib- and vehicle-treated mice based on sublocalization of cells expressing the genes, measure of progression of lung fibrosis by masson staining, functional enrichment and pathway analyses, we identified their potential roles in the prognosis of the nintedanib treatment.
