Semi-structured interviews with adolescents (10-15YO) and their parents/carers/guardians about eating and body weight

We conducted semi-structured interviews with 16 adolescents (10-15-years-old) and their parents/carers/guardians exploring what messages they hear about eating and body weight from various sources in their lives (e.g., family, peers, school, social media); this included a scenario-building task. Semi-structured interviews were audio-recorded and transcribed for analysis. Depending on the medium chosen for their scenario-building (Dictated drawing or Lego), photographs of Lego outputs were taken and images created from dictated drawings using Canva.
