Anorexia Daily Intestinal Microbiota Changes Case Study

Anorexia has been shown previously to be associated with intestinal microbial dysbiosis. This longitudinal case study explores the effects on the microbiome of patient renourishment and patient individuality for three patients being treated for anorexia nervosa. We find that the microbiome retains characteristics of the individual patient moreso than reflecting disease state.
