Consumers purchasing online food delivery in the Netherlands 2020-2023

In 2023, around 47 percent of consumers purchased deliveries online from restaurants, fast-food chains, and caterers in the Netherlands. There was a slight decrease in the share of shoppers compared to 2022, when roughly 48 percent of people purchased food via the web. As the pandemic restrictions had been lifted, people began dining out again, explaining the drop in shoppers.
