To investegate how IL6 regulates human monocyte transcriptional profiles, we stimulated primary human monocytes in vitro with IL6 and IL6R. Overall design: Primary human monocytes from five different donors were stimulated with either media alone (PRMI1640 plus 10% HI FBS) or a combination of media, 10ng/ml IL6, and 18.7ng/ml IL6R for 24 hours.
