This dataset contains time series of accumulated groundwater volume changes based on 1-D poroelastic model applying GPS vertical land motion observations over San Joaquin Valley, California, from October 2011 to September 2015. Details of the processing are provided in the publication of Ojha et al. (2019): C. Ojha, S. Werth, M. Shirzaei, Groundwater Loss and Aquifer System Compaction in San Joaquin Valley During 2012–2015 Drought. J. Geophys. Res. Solid Earth. 124, 3127–3143 (2019). Data provided in the file GPSbasedGWVchange_Fig8_JGR_Ojha_etal_2019.csv is a time series of GPS-based monthly accumulated groundwater volume changes and 1-sigma error, as shown in Figure 8 of Ojha et al. (2019). Unit is km<sup>3</sup>. The files three columns contain time (column 1, in decimal year), groundwater volume change (column 2, in km<sup>3</sup>) and 1-sigma error (column 3, in km<sup>3</sup>). <br>
