资源简介:
1) To gain comprehensive and detailed data for informing PSI's interventions with transgenders; 2) To segment the population according to consistent condom use with regular partners, consistent condom use with casual partners, and consistent water-based lubricant use; 3) To identify key determinants (OAM Opportunity, Ability and Motivation) associated with each behavior; and 4) To obtain baseline information for monitoring key indicators, behavior change, OAM determinants, and exposure to PSI Thailand's interventions. Respondent-Driven Sampling (RDS) was used to collect data from 400 transgenders aged 15-35 in Pattaya. For inclusion in the study, transgenders must have been living in Pattaya for at least three months and work or socialize in hot zones, which are in North, Central and South Pattaya, at least three nights a week. The self-administered questionnaire covered demographic information, sexual behavior, condom and lubricant use, OAM determinants, and exposure to PSI's interventions. Multivariate analyses were performed to identify significant determinants of condom and water-based lubricant use. Simple frequencies were run on descriptive data to complete the monitoring table.
