Study on the mechanism of Tiaopi Xiaozhi decoction regulating intestinal flora to improve obesity

By establishing an animal model of obesity induced by high fat diet, the experiment explored whether the famous TCM clinical decoction Tiaopi Xiaozhi decoction (TXD) could regulate the intestinal flora and its metabolite to maintain the homeostasis of the intestinal microenvironment, reduce the chronic low-grade inflammation of the body, and then intervene the development of simple obesity. To explore the mechanism of Tiaopi Xiaozhi decoction in the intervention of simple obesity. Tiaopi Xiaozhi decoction can effectively reduce the weight, visceral coefficient and fat weight of obese mice, and improve the disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism of obese mice. Tiaopi Xiaozhi decoction is characterized by multiple components, multiple targets and multiple pathways. It can repair intestinal barrier, regulate intestinal bacteria and their metabolites, maintain intestinal microenvironment homeostasis, and reduce chronic low-grade inflammation in the body, which is one of the mechanisms of intervention in obesity.
