We present a method to simulate the propagation of seismoelectromagnetic (SEM) signals generated by an earthquake in coupled layers of lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere (LAI).The electromagnetic response at various heights is analyzed by means of numerical simulations.We also conduct numerical simulations to explore how early EM fields are influenced by the ionospheric state, source depth, and rock conductivity.
