Frequency of betting events on 10 selected German motorways over 2 years

For the analysis of which routes certain weather events occurred most frequently, reanalysis data from all over Germany from the period 1.12.2017-30.11.2019 were used. The 10 selected routes were mapped as points with a distance of 1 km. For these 3160 points, the weather values were read from the individual time steps (1 hour resolution = 24 time steps per day and parameters = 122,640 data sets). The values were averaged per parameter (=24 per day = 122,640 for 2 years) (in the case of wind force, gusts of wind, snow depth, ice) or summed up (precipitation, fresh snow height). In fog, it was counted in which % of cases 95% relative humidity was exceeded. These values were then standardized. The highest or most common value was given a value of 100, while the lowest or rarest value was given a value of 0. Parameters: wind speed, gusts, precipitation, snow depth, fresh snow depth, ice, fog (>95% humidity)
