This project involves RNA sequencing of human keratinocytes to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying epidermal barrier regulation. In particular, we focus on the role of macropinocytosis in the internalization of tight junction proteins such as occludin. RNA-seq was conducted to assess transcriptomic alterations following siRNA-mediated knockdown of NAV1.
