In 2022, the expenditure for education and training in Vietnam amounted to approximately 272.7 trillion Vietnamese dong. In Vietnam, the education system was subject to some criticism because of the high pressure. According to a survey among young citizens in Vietnam, 69.3 percent of respondents stated that their current education and skills level will need to be constantly updated. Together with parents’ high expectations, this has led to social issues such as depression, anxiety and suicide among pupils and students.
