Replication data for : Decoding ladybird's colours: structural mechanisms of colour production and pigment modulation", Carrada et al., PLOS-ONE 2025

This dataset consists of Replication Data for: "Decoding ladybird's colours: structural mechanisms of colour production and pigment modulation", Carrada et al., PLOS-ONE 2025. The files correspond to optical measurements made on the elytra of ladybirds of the species Adalia Bipunctata (L.) and Calvia Quatordecimguttata (L.), in particular the reflectance spectra and the Raman spectra. All metadata can be found in the raw spectrometer files. In order to compare the signal intensities in each set, the reflectance spectra were normalised with respect to the measurement time.
