Data set used to generate the figures in the Acta Biomaterialia paper titled 'Tailoring the biofunctionality of collagen biomaterials via tropoelastin incorporation and EDC-crosslinking' . Absorbance data were obtained on a Fluostar Optima plate reader. Fluorescence images were obtained on a Zeiss Axio Observer Z1 microscope fitted with a AxioCam 530 camera. Quantitative nanomechanical mapping (QNM) data were generated on a Multimode 8, Bruker using a Tap300 Al-G, Budget Sensors tip.
