Corangamite Biodiversity Enhancement and Restoration Programme

This project aims to reduce weed infestation, enhance biodiversity values and improve trail surfaces and infrastructure and reduce the demand on committee volunteer labour for CorangamiteÍs biodiversity reserves.

Corangamite Shire's Rail Trails and reserves are key recreational areas for the community, and improvements to these areas will enhance visitors' experiences and provide opportunities for people to learn about the local environment. The project will

encourage the community to work together to restore the biodiversity of the Shire by grow/planting natives.

Participants and committee members and the community will work together to ensure task are completed and knowledge can be shared while achieving positive biodiversity outcomes.
