Expression profiles evaluation of biomineralization genes in P.lividus and A. lixula adults collected at volcanic CO2 vents

In this study, the expression of biomineralization genes was examined in two sea urchin species (P. lividus and A.lixula) from acidified areas due to natural vents with high CO2 levels. The study suggests that the adults differently suffer changes in the expression regulation of biomineralization genes at elevated CO2 levels.
