Summary Statistics from a Whole-Genome Sequencing Metabolomic GWAS and Whole-Blood cis-eQTL Analysis in a Hong Kong Han Chinese Adolescent Cohort
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the summary statistics from an integrated metabolomics, genomics, and transcriptomics investigation of metabolism in an adolescent Hong Kong Han Chinese population. The resource combines data from two independent Hong Kong Han Chinese cohorts. The first dataset comprises a metabolomic whole-genome sequencing (WGS) genome-wide association study (GWAS) of 3,150 adolescents (mean age 17.6 years) from the Hong Kong Children of 1997 birth cohort, in which 250 serum metabolite traits were quantified using the Nightingale Health nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) metabolomics platform. The second dataset comprises whole-blood cis-expression quantitative trait locus (cis-eQTL) analyses from an independent ancestry-matched cohort of 998 Hong Kong Han Chinese individuals recruited through the Hong Kong Genome Project, for whom both RNA sequencing and whole-genome sequencing data were available. These data were used to characterize the genetic architecture of circulating metabolites, and prioritize candidate causal genes through integration of metabolite associations and gene expression signals. All genomic coordinates are in GRCh38. Intended use These summary-level datasets are provided to support: Replication of metabolomic GWAS findings. Metabolomic GWAS meta-analysis studies. Colocalization analyses between metabolite-associated loci and gene expression. Candidate causal gene prioritization. Fine-mapping of metabolite-associated loci. Mendelian randomization and causal inference studies.
