Characterization and molecular mechanism of cetane degradation in extreme halophilic archaea

The strains were investigated with cetane as the representative alkane. The ability of RO2-11 and RO1-22 to degrade cetane, combined with the transcriptome and transcriptome under cetane metabolic conditions.
