Particulate organic carbon (POC) and particulate organic nitrogen (PON) flux observations from three depths (50, 100 and 150 m) and five locations across the Western Weddell Sea (collected between 04/02/2024 - 01/03/2024). Flux observations were obtained via a custom, free-drifting sediment trap which was deployed from 11-22 hours. Samples were analysed onshore by scientists at the British Antarctic Survey using an elemental analyser. These data were collected as part of the PICCOLO project (NE/P021395/1) with thanks to the crew of the Sir David Attenborough.
