This series contains the agendas of the Council of Technical and Further Education. The council was formed as required by the Technical and Further Education Act of 1974.The agendas are headed with which number meeting the agenda is for, the location, date and time to which the meeting is to be held. The structure of the meeting is then broken down: apologies, confirmation of previous minutes, business arising, Director General's reports, items for discussion, items for information and appendices.The first page of each agenda has a control number in the top right hand corner. For example the first page of the agenda for the meeting to be held on 1 December 1981 is numbered 78/S42/80140. The first page of each attached appendices is also numbered with its own unique number in the top right hand corner. The agendas and appendices are typed but also contain original signatures of the document author and some hand written annotations. The agendas are arranged chronologically and; have been collected into registered TAFE files with imposed numbers (e.g. TAFE14/4248).
