March Madness: forecast betting participation in the U.S. 2019-2023

The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, also known as March Madness, is an annual knockout tournament between the best college basketball teams in the United States. While some fans enjoy just watching the games, others also choose to bet on them with the potential to earn money or goods. In 2023, it was estimated that 68 million U.S. adults would bet on March Madness, up from the 2022 estimate of 45 million.
