This is a Federal Reserve dataset hosted on the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) database. The dataset includes Venezuela-United States foreign exchange rates. For August 2018, the average daily exchange rate of the Venezuelan bolívar was calculated using the "bolívar fuerte" exchange rate through Friday, August 17, and the "bolívar soberano" exchange rate starting from Monday, August 20, multiplied by 100,000. All rates in the dataset are daily average values, representing cable transfer purchase rates paid in foreign currency at noon in New York City.
