The Chief Justice and puisne judges periodically established tables of fees respecting proceedings and matters in Equity, subdivided into two categories: fees due and payable to the Master, and fees due and payable to solicitors. For all "matters and things" not enumerated in tables of fees the same fees were to be charged as would be charged in the High Court of Chancery in England. The volumes only contain fees due and payable to the Master, showing date when fees incurred (ie. date documents ordered), names of litigants, matters in respect to which fees incurred (ie. entering decrees and orders, copying minutes of evidence, etc.), names of solicitors by whom fees are payable, amounts owing. On receipt of fees, each entry was marked "paid", and initialled by the entering officer.
