Data from Geophysical Survey Work at Attingham, Shropshire, August 2024

This collection comprises geophysics data from geophysical survey work at land south of the A5, Attingham, Shropshire and was undertaken by MOLA Northampton in August 2024. This work involved Magnetometer survey with a cart-mounted array of Bartington Grad- 01-1000L fluxgate gradiometers. The survey identified no definite features of archaeological interest, although two possible ditches were detected on the northern and southern edges of the survey area. It did, however, detect a post-medieval field boundary in the west of the survey area and a possible field drain in the east.
