Regional climate analysis for the Oö. Central room

Prolonged heat is a heavy burden on humans and animals, especially when nocturnal cooling is left out. In a regional climate analysis, the state of Upper Austria in cooperation with the ZAMG (Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics) examined which areas in the Upper Austrian Central Area are particularly affected by overheating and where fresh air and cold air development areas are located. Based on these observations, planning advice has been prepared on how to preserve the existing fresh and cold air development areas and how to reduce or avoid overheating.
