This dataset provides the spatial distribution data of land use types in Daxing District, Beijing, in 2016. It is vector data with attribute fields including land code, land type and others. The land types are divided into secondary-level categories: paddy fields, dry lands, closed forest lands, shrub lands, sparse forest lands, other forest lands, high-coverage grasslands, medium-coverage grasslands, low-coverage grasslands, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacial snow and ice, tidal flats, beach lands, urban construction lands, rural residential areas, other construction lands, sand, gobi, saline-alkali lands, marsh lands, bare lands, bare rock and gravel lands, and others. Notably, cultivated land is further categorized into paddy fields and dry lands on mountains, hills, plains and slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees based on landform conditions. The data scale is 1:100,000.
