List of monuments

Cultural monuments are protected by law and must be entered in a register, the so-called list of monuments. The owners concerned will be notified of the inclusion in the list of monuments. At the same time, the list of monuments is published here and updated weekly. The list of monuments is not exhaustive, but is constantly reviewed, supplemented and cleaned up. All ‘cultural monuments of particular importance’ previously entered in the old ‘memorial book’ under the Monument Protection Act of before 2015 have been automatically included in the new list of monuments, but their representations have not yet been finally updated (description, scope of protection).
