This dataset was generated in an in vitro study where 3 cell lines (Caco-2, HT29-MTX-E12, THP-1) were cocultured in 6.5 mm Transwell® with 0.4 µm Pore Polyester Membrane Insert to mimick the intestinal environment in order to assess the potential anti-inflammatory effects of several chemical compounds. The permeability of the epithelial layer was calculated by measuring the quantity of FITC-Dextran 4kDa (FD4) in the basolateral compartment. Values are expressed either in ng/mL or as a percentage to control. This dataset includes single measurements for each sample.
