Immunovirological profiles of the study patients.

Table 1 reports immunovirological features of patients tested in virus detection and quantification experiments (experiments shown in Fig. 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, Table 2 and supplementary Figure S1). Patients were on triple drug regimens which included 2 nucleoside analogues (Zidovudine, Lamuvidine, Stavudine , Didanosine, Abacavir, Emtricitabine or Tenofovir) in addition to one non- nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (Efavirenz or Nevirapine) or one protease inhibitor (Atazanavir, Lopinavir/ritonavir, Nelfinavir, Ritonavir or Saquinavir). 1Limit of detection: 20 copies/ml. 2Data are expressed as median[quartiles] and (range). 3Working cell population for virological analysis.
