The study investigates the efficiency of anaerobic methane's production in an Anaerobic Fluidized Membrane BioReactor (AFMBR) with uncoated PVDF as biomass carrier. The AFMBR system is using greywater from households as feed. 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing was performed to elucidate the methanogenic community and the presence of syntrophic bacteria that can enhance methane production.
